Samson Tiara & Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service sign Cooperative Learning Center Agreement

Jakarta, Indonesia & College Station, Texas, USA – January 7th, 2019

Samson Tiara, Indonesia’s leading oil & gas safety training provider, today announced the signing of a Cooperative Learning Center Agreement with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, TEEX. 

TEEX, arguably one of the best-known emergency response training providers in the world, is home to some of the world’s top training facilities at the Emergency Services Training Institute (ESTI) in Texas, USA. These include the Brayton Fire Training Field, Disaster City® and the Emergency Operations Training Center, in College Station, Texas, as well as the Center for Marine Training and Safety in Galveston, Texas. 

Under this agreement, Samson Tiara becomes the first training provider to deliver TEEX accredited courses in Indonesia, and joins a small but elite group of training centres around the world to achieve TEEX accreditation.

Starting with accreditation for Basic Sea Survival, Confined Space Safety, Advanced Fire Fighting and Emergency Response Team Member, Samson Tiara will seek to expand the number of TEEX accredited courses over the coming months and years.

The curriculum they teach is excellent and we will continue to assist Samson Tiara in the development of more comprehensive courses as required.”
